Before I Sleep

This song is a confession from someone who acts fine on the outside, but can’t shut their feelings off once the room gets quiet. The narrator is stuck between pride and desire, replaying mistakes, and needing one honest answer: is this real love, or just a moment? The verses paint that restless, 2 a.m. headspace, dodging pain, fearing something real, while the chorus is the plea for closeness “before I sleep.” The bridge turns it into a final ultimatum: tell the truth, and let it heal or end clean.
